Depending on your requirements we will coordinate and execute the safe storage of your boat at one of our storage facilities. Our base service includes; collection from her slip, removal from the water and transportation to storage location. ​ Choose between: -Secure outside storage -Secure covered storage with power and water ​ Additional services include: -Full hull and top side pressure wash -Rinse, wash and dry of all surfaces including lockers -Apply protective wax to hull, topside and vinyl cushions -Install chemical dehumidifiers in lockers and interior.  -Monthly charge of batteries -Winterization of engine(s) and fresh water system as necessary​​ ​ As part of the service we will check on her monthly, change out chemical dehumidifiers as necessary to keep your interiors and lockers mould free, rotate trailer wheels, bearings and brake systems to prevent ceasing and long term damage.  ​ Prior to long periods of storage we recommend that you consider winterizing your engine(s) and fresh water system, cleaning/detailing and dehumidifying your boat.   We also provide boat storage as part of our winter management package. ​ *Storage requires that all boats have their own trailers. With the ever changing and unpredictable nature of the weather along the Gulf Coast, Baldwin County Boatworks has developed an “SOS” service that allows boat owners to simply say the word and we will safely extract their boat from the water and deliver to a pre determined storage location in preparation for adverse weather.   We will happily provide this as a standalone service or as part of full management package.   If you live out of town you may choose to have Baldwin County Boatworks make the decision on your behalf to remove or remain in the water. Rest assured we will make a very CONSERVATIVE and EARLY decision.     ​Typically our customers choose to protect their boats from June through to November.   ​Cost of service dependant on size and location of boat. NEW TO BOATING? PURCHASED A NEW BOAT? OR JUST NEED SOME BOATING PRACTICE?   Boating in the Gulf of Mexico is far from easy and even the most straightforward activity can prove difficult and stressful, and dangerous to the those with little experience.     Whether you’ve bought a new boat and simply want an extra pair of hands to help you and your family feel more confident on the water, or if you want to fine tune your boat handling skills before the summer, we’d be happy to help.   We can deliver boating lessons to any or all members of your family. Perhaps you would like mom to feel more confident at the helm, or maybe your kids are fourteen or over and asking for the keys!   Baldwin County Boatworks can help you, and your family, build their knowledge and develop the confidence needed in order to maximize the safe use of your boat. We typically recommend that our customers receive boating lessons aboard their own boat.
